BUSTED & BLUE HAIR!

Ethan always tells us he eats his lunch first and dessert last.
We ask because I guess we know our son! I received this
picture from a friend, and noticed his dessert was gone and
his meal was still there. You can see the pink blob on the
other children's plates, but I don't see it on Ethans!


It was crazy hair day at school. Ethan was so proud of his
blue mo-hawk.

WE WENT TO MISSISSIPPI

We had lots of fun this weekend at our cousins house.
They live in Mississippi. Heidi and Steve were
so sweet to let us come!

OUR BALLERINA!

Mia absolutely loves her dancing class!
At first I was a little worried
about putting Mia in dancing, she can be
really shy sometimes. After her first class she told
me she loved, loved, loved me for bringing
her to her ballet and she wanted to go everyday!

HURRICANE GUSTUV!

Tuesday after the hurricane this is what we came home to. One of our trees fell over and hit our neighbor's house. It knocked their electric box off their home, crushed their A/C unit, bent their roof, and knocked out their bathroom window. They are still talking to us! We have really great neighbors!

We were checking out what Gustav had left us.

Many trees have fallen into our pond. Matt says it will be awhile until we get the pond back in order. We were out of electricity from Monday until Saturday evening at our house. We stayed at my mom's house for the week after the hurricane. She has a house generator, everything runs, including her air conditioner! We were living the high life! It was a high life with a house full of people. Mom, Chris, Linda, her daughter Mo (and her dog ), Linda's son Justin and wife Brenne, their baby Kenzie, me, Matt and our three.

This is Sunday afternoon at our house. It looks great! Our neighbor's nephew and his friend cleaned our yard. I am amazed at the before and after pictures!!

Mia got a hair cut today. It is really cute!! My friend Leah had her girls hair cut a few weeks ago. Their hair-cuts were so precious, so I followed suit! She said to tell the lady... stack it in the back and cut it into a short bob. I guess you could call it an inverted bob. Two words, Nerve Racking !! Anyway, I felt like my hair was being cut off!! She cut, snipped, used a razor, etc. I kept thinking, enough already!! Finally, it was over and it turned out cute. She did have the messy look going. Hopefully, now she has a neat look going.
